Happy Summer Card with Di's Digistamps Henry's Hazy Days Digi

Happy Summer card featuring Di's DigiStamps Henry's Hazy Days digi, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils, by Paperesse.

Another Happy Summer card for you today. The digi is Di's DigiStamps Henry's Hazy Days digi (retired). I used the circular sentiment I created for my recent Dandelion Mice card and mix of paper from my stash. And speaking of my paper stash...you really wouldn't notice this unless I told you (so I am) I used to almost always choose my papers from the same paper pad/digital set; that way I felt they always coordinated and I didn't have to put a whole lot of thought into it, but I find myself lately taking a little bit from here, a little there, and often bits and pieces from my scraps box. I feel all thrifty using up scrap bits, those unused papers I've had for years, and surprisingly find I like the unexpected mix.

I copied the design from this Happy Spring card. Simple embellishments are matt enamel dots (from my dots stash and believe me, I have a bunch) and my ever faithful no-brand border strip and Gemini Fancy Borders Ric-Rac dies (and yeah, got quite a die stash, too).
