The digi on today's birthday card for a friend is Beary Wonderful, a new digi from Di's DigiStamps –isn't she a cutie?! If you'd like to snag this one for yourself I noticed in getting the link that Di is having a 50% off sale right now; act fast though because it says it's ending in 5 days (so 30 August). I also have the honor to be guest designing for Kleuren met Potloden and since Di is one of their sponsors, this card works perfectly for my guest spot.
I chose this Easter design from several years back for this card and as with that one used a sentiment from one of Cuddly Buddly's Barbara Anne Williams sentiment sheets – Garden Vignettes. These sentiments complement Di's digis very well and there are several cards on the blog featuring them. Paper is another origami block acquisition – Flower Power Origami Thérapie.
A generic decorative border die, crinkled paper ribbon and enamel dots top it off. A note on the border die: as you can see in the photo it's too short to go across the card, to resolve this I simply cut it in two and glued both halves. The big digi circle die cuts cover up the missing bit.
