Christmas Card With Di's Digi Stamps Snowy Rooftop Mice Digi

Christmas card with Di's Digi Stamps Rooftop Mice digi, colored with Caran d'Ache Luminance 6901 pencils, by Paperesse.

I've got another card for my Christmas/Meilleurs Voeux stash today, featuring Di's Digi Stamps Snowy Rooftop Mice digi. Regular readers might know that I normally I save these French holiday cards 'til last, but I had a few planned at the end of last year I didn't get done – digis printed, paper picked – so I'm working on those first.

I decided to use the same design as this Christmas Pressie Mice card. Black/white background paper is First Edition Black Out paper pad. I have had this paper a long, long time and seldom think to use it. The snowflake circles are Peddy Design paper stack, also a long ago purchase and rarely used.  The digital green paper is from my scrap box, leftover from a long ago project.  The sentiment was created with DJB Coffee Shop Espresso font. Embellishments are wooden snowflakes dressed up with matt enamel dots.

*Crafty Tip* How about a crafty tip? Since it's been a while. This one is courtesy of my crafty buddy Jan from Uh. So This is a Blog. Jan made this super cute New Year's card that I had the honor of receiving IRL. I loved the little black stars on the card and asked Jan where she got them. She told me they were natural wood stars that she colored with a black Sharpie. What an excellent idea! Now maybe you've already thought of this and are doing it, but if not, think about taking a Sharpie to any of your natural wood embellishments you'd like to add color to. I did same with these stars and was so pleased with how they turned out. Thanks, Jan!
