University of Central Arkansas purple & gray graduation card

It is such a small world. A friend of mine had a guest staying with her that saw one of the cards I'd given her. She asked my friend if I could make some cards for her. Of course, I said "Yes!". One she wanted was a college graduation card for her daughter. I asked what school the daughter was graduating from and wouldn't you know it—the University of Central Arkansas! Being from Arkansas myself, I just found that the coolest coincidence. My friend lives in Geneva, Switzerland, her guest is from Tanzania, and here I am in France. Yep, it's a small world. But back to the card...UCA's colors are purple and gray and the one request was that it have a mortar board hat.

I used a digital mortar board hat stamp from Bird's Cards, colored with Luminance 6901 pencils.

And although it looks more blue here, yes, the paper is purple,

Material

Stamps—Bird's Cards digital
Paper—ATD Story of Us, cardstock
Embellishments—ribbon, twine, button
Pencils—Caran D'Ache Luminance 6901
