Funny Persian Cat Birthday Card

This was supposed to be a Father's Day card, but as I got into it, I realized Sir Cat was the perfect birthday card for a cat loving male friend.

The focal point is a big, thick, plastic sticker I found in the sale bin at my favorite outlet shop. I stuck it on card stock and cut a mat around it. The image dominates so I kept the rest of the design simple. A fleur de lys charm hangs from a silk cord on the side.

Hint—to keep cord tips like this from fraying, use a drop of Fray Check on each end.

Material
Paper—BoBunny Weekend Market, cardstock
Stamps—Aladine Maxi Ticket stamp (M03544)
Ink—Aladine Pigment Ink black
Topper—Cat sticker
Embellishments—silk cord, charm

  1. This one is truly the cat's meow! I have to giggle, because something about the expression on this kitty's face makes me think of my Great Grandmother! Hahahaha!
