Santa called . . . another fun Christmas card idea and tips for coloring grey hair

Christmas card with Bugaboo Digi Stamps Stella Christmas Santa Called digital stamp focal image.

Here's another fun loving Christmas card, this time with the Stella Christmas Santa Called digital stamp from Bugaboo Digi Stamps as the focal image.

I love these Stella stamps; they are so funny! By golly, she tells it like it is on any occasion. I haven't figured out who I'm sending this to yet. I want it to go to someone who will fully appreciate the humor. The paper is Basic Grey 25th and Pine, more of the gift pack from my friend Fanny (as I mentioned with my last post).

*Crafty Tip* For realistic, soft looking grey hair, I use four colors. First, lightly just inside the borders of the hairstyle with light grey (002 Sliver Grey) and blend (with Derwent or Prismacolor blenders), leaving the majority of the hairstyle uncolored. Next, I use a medium grey (004 Steel Grey) inside the hair design closer to the borders and blend again. I follow this up with a darker grey (507 Paynes Grey 60%) nearest the face and along the part (if there were one, here there isn't). I then take the white 001 pencil and blend over all. Ah, which actually that could be another crafty tip – don't think of your white pencil as a color, think of it as a blender.
