Beautiful French Peonies

What do you think of these French pivoines (peonies)? Aren't they lovely?!

I like fresh flowers in the home. Not one for fancy bouquets, I prefer simple arrangements of pretty, colorful flowers that perk me up to look at them. I try and pick some up every week when we're out and about doing our errands. You can find beautiful, reasonably priced flowers in small food shops, grocery stores and French markets across France (like these Lyon market roses). The French like their flowers.  

I do try to buy locally sourced flowers. This is more important than ever now, as during the confinement, with florists closed and less people in the markets, our floriculteurs (flower growers) suffered a heavy financial blow.
